Summer Meal Plans

Summer School Students (Assigned to 17th Ave Residence Hall)

Students assigned to 17th Ave Residence Hall for summer housing are required to participate in a meal plan. This plan is billed at a daily rate of $29.25 and will be active from June 8 through August 15, 2026.

If your housing assignment ends prior to August 15, 2026, charges will be prorated and applied only for the dates of your assignment.


Apartment and Commuter Students

Summer 2026 meal plans are available for purchase below for apartment and commuter students. These plans may be used at 17th Ave Dining Hall between June 8 and August 15, 2026.

Unused meal swipes will not carry over to the Fall 2026 semester.

Students without a meal plan that includes swipes may still dine at 17th Ave Dining Hall but must request door access using this form. For questions, please contact [email protected].


Visiting Summer Interns

Visiting summer interns with a University of Minnesota Twin Cities housing assignment may purchase a Summer 2026 Block Plan for access to 17th Ave Dining Hall using a credit or debit card.

Meal plans are valid from June 8 through August 15, 2026, and unused meal swipes are non-refundable.

When selecting a meal plan:

  • Enter the 17-digit number from your UMN Housing & Residential Life door access card in the “Student ID” field, or
  • If issued a U Card, enter the 7-digit number located on the back of the card
