About the Job
Responsibilities
Students work in a variety of capacities depending on the location. The positions that we staff in residential restaurants include: dish room attendant, server, tables/beverage attendant, and greeter. Each residential restaurant may offer specialized positions for different service areas and food stations. All employees at any given time may be expected to handle food and beverage including but not limited to the following: meat, beef, pork, chicken, fish, dairy products, nuts, vegetables, etc. Employees will be expected to follow safety, quality, and customer service standards instructed at each location.
Available residential locations are as follows:
- Pioneer Dining Hall
- Comstock Dining Hall
- Sanford Dining Hall
- 17th Ave. Dining Hall
- Nutrition Center at Athletes Village
- Middlebrook Dining Hall
- Bailey Dining Hall
Required Hours per week: 10-20
Qualifications
M Food Co. is looking for responsible individuals to support our multiple dining facilities across campus. These positions vary in responsibility and location. Preferred qualifications include previous food service and/or customer service experience. You must be currently enrolled as a University of Minnesota student to qualify.
